Strawberry Dreams

The idea behind this triptych was to capture all of the angles of the energy drink can, as the art on the can is very pretty in my opinion.

  2. I believe I successfully made a triptych here because the three photos really compliment each other through the different angles leaving nothing to the imagination, as without one picture you are left with a missing puzzle piece

  3. I used space and shape in the photos, by having photos that are zoomed in, and I used the cylindrical, circular, rectangular shape of the can

  4. i used balance by having equal space of cans

  5. i used the rules of symmetry and filling the frame for these photos

Puppy's 4th Christmas

For this triptych my idea was a Christmas themed photoshoot loosely based off a post I saw on Instagram

  2. I think the photos turned out really well and flow together nicely.

  3. Texture was used in the dogs fur

  4. i used the contrast of the darker coloured clothes against the light grey wall

  5. I used the Rule of thirds Specifically for this triptych because it shows you to look at the dogs face in all of them

Steel and Saplings

for this triptych i used inspiration from Pinterest, and made three "line" shaped objects; a cafeteria line divider, a tree, and a powerline pole all align together

  2. i believe it was a successful triptych because all of the photos align together to create one big line

  3. The element of art i used was lines as the three photos have one line going through

  4. the principle of design i used was emphasis as the three photos have one significant dark part of the photo

  5. I used the rule of space for this triptych because the photos all just have one dark object on the left side of the photo

I did not do any actual editing on my photos other than cropping, and turning the one triptych B&W

I liked my editing skills, but i do think i should try to find an editing app instead of just using the small array of Canva editing tools

if i could redo the project i would have had some sort of theme between all the triptych instead of just random ideas i had, and i would have tried to take the photos earlier instead of waiting until the last minute

i think my shooting skills and holding the camera steady is getting better, i think I'm also getting better at using lighting to my advantage
